The Critical Analysis of the Construction of Teacher-ness Identities in Contemporary Thai Films

This article aimed to analyze the construction of teacher-ness identities in contemporary Thai films. The represented films were a unit cultural analysis popular culture, methodological approach informed by British Cultural Studies. researcher analyzed texts nine teacher-related released cinemas between 1977 and 2017, under theoretical framework social realities. findings indicated that teacher representations presented three ways: 1) ideal teacher-ness, 2) negotiation with 3) non-ideal teacher-ness.
